3rd Cutting Workshop a Resounding Success!
Our cutting workshops are becoming more and more popular, so much so that we were fully booked for April’s class.
We are constantly striving to improve our coaching for your enjoyment, and judging by all the positive feedback and smiling faces on the night, I think that we’re doing something right!
Everyone enjoyed looking at some western swords a few participants brought to compare with the eastern ones.
It was my great pleasure to notice that participants’ skills are improving from session to session.
Once again, a huge thanks to Sue Reilly for the great photographs.
Keep checking this site for details of the next workshop in a couple of months.
Guys, thanks to Sue, again (we are so lucky, aren’t we…) you can see captured moments from the last cutting session,
go to our Links page and click on www.shugyoimages.smugmug.com and enjoy. (If we are not on the Recent Photos page, go to Art then Gumdo)
In response to several inquires we have decided to offer young students from the age of 8 – 12, kids only classes.
It is our belief that swordsmanship is beneficial to the development of the body and mind, as well as ethical values like honor, loyalty, obedience and respect.
Parents/Guardians who think that their children would like to learn swordsmanship, please contact us for details.
We have just launched the PCh School of the Sword Facebook page and encourage all of our students and followers to LIKE us on there and post a quick hello on our wall!
Thanks to all of you who attended our recent cutting workshop. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
It was great to see people using their swords as they were designed to be used and improving their techniques with every cut.
PCH School of the Sword plans to hold regular cutting workshops throughout 2012, so contact us to register your interest and we will let you know when the next workshop will be held.
Thanks Sue for taking the photos (with sword in one hand and camera in the other)
Also if anybody wants to see more of these photos and more of Susan Reilly’s awesome work go to: www.shugyoimages.smugmug.com
